Guide Review - Playmobil Soccer Match Game Set #4700

Playmobil has come out with some really eye catching and interesting themes for their construction and building toy sets introduced earlier this year. Playmobil themes for this year include the Animal Farm series, the Eagle Castle series and the sports related series in addition to others.

The Playmobil Soccer Match game set is sure to appeal to any child aged 4 & above. The uniqueness of this Playmobil set lies in the fact that it is almost as much fun to construct as it is to play with after construction is over!

The Playmobil Soccer Match set contains a total of 65 pieces for hours of playing fun. The soccer field board itself measures 36” long X 26” wide for a large playing area for the rest of the pieces. The net features a unique lever to control the goalie who can make saves. The other players have a small lever near the top of their legs which enable kids to assist players in kicking the soccer ball.

There is even a 2006 Soccer World Cup style scoreboard on which the scores can be changed as your kids’ game progresses. The only drawback to this set is that the players could have been a bit larger and a bit more flexible than what they currently are. Little kids find it hard to move the figures around and control their movements because of the inflexibility.
