Guide Review - Yackle Ball
I tried the Yackle Ball out with a group of kids of various ages. The older kids aged 7 and up loved it. They had a blast trying to throw the ball in all different ways. However, the younger kids aged 5 to 7 found it cumbersome as it is slightly heavy. This kind of defeated the whole purpose of making it easier to catch for this age group, unless of course, your child is comfortable with playing with heavy balls. However, a Yackle Ball Jr version is available for younger players.
The Yackle Ball is covered with heavy duty vinyl which should stand up to rough play outdoors. That and the strong construction make it a durable buy. I found it for approximately $20-$25 on the web.
