This discovery globe provides lots of information on world statistics including the names and locations of countries, capitals, continents, bodies of water, music, population, currency, and much more. Also included is a world clock. Your kids can discover fun and interesting facts about various countries, and even compare statistics between countries. There is a game playing mode where you and your kids can play games like finding geographic places of interest. This globe runs on batteries. It may be better to get an adapter for this as batteries can work out expensive. It has a headphone jack, volume control and an automatic shut off feature. The only thing negative about this product is that it can get outdated quickly, and there is no way to update it except for buying a new one! Overall, this is highly recommended to all parents.
