Guide Review - Fisher-Price I Can Play Piano
I Can Play Piano is a piano teaching system that uses video game technology to teach children to quickly and easily master the basics of playing piano while having fun doing it. The I Can Play Piano hooks up to your TV set, and you can view the graphics and instructions right there. The easy to follow graphics and musical color-coding system turns every song into a simple game that your child plays using the keyboard.
On the screen, standard sheet music becomes a colorful game with fun, moving images that tell kids what note to play and when to play it. The I Can Play Piano system comes with a color coordinated 3-octave keyboard that can be plugged into your TV set, or played alone. The system includes one software cartridge "Family Favorites" that features 8 well known songs, as well as two warm-up games that the whole family will enjoy.
The animation on the TV could have been a little better in the included Piano Favorites song & game cartridge. Additionally, there are a host of other cartridges available for sale, which will ensure that your child can enhance and further develop his/her piano playing skills.
Overall, the I Can Play Piano is a wonderful product which is educational, fun, different and sensible.
