Guide Review - Learning Tower Toy Review

The Learning Tower is a unique piece of wooden furniture that really is a toy in itself. It's a sturdy tower made from smooth wood that makes it safe for kids as young as 18 months to stand at the kitchen counter. Much sturdier than a counter stool or step stool, the Learning Tower provides a safe place where kids can help cook, which is a vital step toward healthy eating habits. They can also use the tower for art projects, puzzles, Play-Doh or even homework!

The Learning Tower arrives in a large box and took me about half an hour to assemble, but it wasn't frustrating at all. There was absolutely no swearing or blood, and my preschooler was actually able to help.

The tower takes up some space and isn't extremely easy to move around, so you should designate a place for it at a kitchen counter or island, but if you have the space, you'll love it. My 2-year-old is now insisting on eating his dinner standing in the tower.

Though I'm not encouraging my kids to try to tip it over for testing purposes, they were very secure, even when both kids were in it together. My little one is able to climb up into the tower himself, which is nice if my hands are messy from cooking.

The Art Easel is sold separately for about $60, and is a nice addition to the Learning Tower toy, but it makes the structure bulkier and heavier. The two-sided Art Easel features a dry-erase side and a chalkboard side, plus a try for paints and chalk. It hangs on one side of the Learning Tower and is best accessed from the floor rather than from inside the tower. It is also easy to mount the Art Easel on the wall with the included screws.
