How It Works:
Each layer has a different sized grid built inside, which acts like a filter for the LEGO blocks. The smallest LEGO blocks get sorted out into the bottom layer, the biggest ones into the topmost layer, with the intermediate sized blocks being held in the middle layers.

What I didn't like:
The Box4Blox has sharp edges which can be painful! The sharp edges are something you'll have to watch out for if you have young kids around. If the box was made with slightly rounded corners, that would take care of the matter.
