Tyco R/C Terrain Twister

Tyco R/C Terrain Twister

The Bottom Line

This season's most popular R/C toy by far is the Tyco R/C Terrain Twister. It's a fantastic model, with the capability to go over almost any kind of terrain including sand, water, grass, twigs, mud, and more! Radio Control fans will have a gala time maneuvering this baby around! But please note that the battery pack is sold separately, which adds to the cost.

Guide Review - Tyco Radio Control Terrain Twister

The first thing that strikes you about the Tyco Terrain Twister is its cool looks. Nicely designed, this R/C vehicle is a sure attention grabber! In place of wheels, there are these 2 corkscrew type cylinders underneath which are the secret behind the Terrain Twister's success. These mini powerdrill look alikes really know their stuff... the Terrain Twister moves over lots of terrains including mud, grass, branches (most), and the most amazing.. water! It kind of churns up the water and moves forward and backward, and spins around. It does get stuck on really smooth floors like the ones indoor in your kitchen. But basically this IS an outdoor toy, and you will have more fun playing with it outdoors anyway. On to the controller. It's pretty simple to operate, with a knob which controls the direction of motion, and another knob which moves and spins it while in motion. The one negative thing that stands out about this vehicle is the fact that the TMH Flexpak battery has to be bought separately.. hmm, it makes it kind of expensive. Well, if you are willing to spend the money, it promises many hours of fun and excitement for Radio Control fans!
