So, what's the new Transformers story all about? According to the press release, the Transformers story follows these lines:
"In their efforts to help the humans, the AUTOBOTS meet up with an unsuspecting teen, played by Shia LaBeouf (Disturbia, Holes and Even Stevens), who finds himself in the middle of an intergalactic war being waged on our planet."
The Transformers toy world is going crazy with excitement - Transformers fans have lots of goodies to look forward to. On June 2nd, the entire Transformers toy range has been released by Hasbro and it's licensees. Here's a look at the highlights of the Transformers movie toys for 2007.
Transformers Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet
Voice changer helmets are always a hit with the little Transformers fans. The Optimus Prime Voice Changer Helmet is nicely detailed to resemble Optimus Prime, and it allows kids to sound like the Transformers robot. There are three modes of operation including the voice changer, battle phrases - where the helmet says different phrases, and conversion sounds. The "Conversion Sounds" feature is pretty exciting - you can hear stuff like sounds of the robot changing from a truck to a robot and back again!
Transformers Arm Blaster assortment
A perfect role play accessory, the Transformers Arm Blasters can be easily transformed to a dart blaster with just one tug. There are two kinds of Arm Blasters available - Starscream's jet or Optimus Prime's truck. Each comes with foam darts.
Super Soaker Transformers Water Shooter
One of my favorite toys, this water blaster is a real blast, especially during the hot summer months. There is a rotating nozzle which gives you four options for the water flow. The powerful jet stream blasts water upto 35 feet away, and has a large water tank which lasts for quite a long time. Just thinking about it is fun!
Transformers MOVIE LEADER assortment
The Transformers Movie Leader Action Figure assortment includes the Optimus Prime and Megatron figures. These figures transform back and forth from vehicle to robot modes with a flip of a lever. Partial animation in the last stage makes the conversion a little more lively. Oh, sounds and lights are thrown in for added effect.
Mr. Potato Head Optimash Prime
Oh, how I love Mr Potato Head! In this irresistible Optimus Prime version of the classic Mr Potato Head, kids will love to put together different looks by combining the various included pieces. It's too cute to miss!
Transformers Robot Fighters Game - Megatron vs Optimus Prime
This is a classic "knock your opponent down" kind of game. One player, the bad guy, gets to control the Megatron hand held robot, and the good guy gets control of Optimus Prime himself. Each one tries to knock the other's robot down first and win the game.
