Toys 'R' Us Recalls Elite Operations Toy Action Figures

From Dipika Mirpuri, About.com GuideOctober 31, 2007

Toys 'R' Us has recalled 16,000 units of assorted Elite Operations pretend play military toys, including Super Rigs (#1004), Command Patrol Center (#1020), Barracuda Helicopter (#1023), and 3 Pack 8-inch Figures (#1024). The reason for the recall is, once again, high levels of lead content in the surface paint of the toys. If you bought your Elite Operations toy from Toys "R" Us any time between July 2007 through October 2007, then be sure to check for the recalled product number on the packaging of the toys. Fortunately, the recall is limited to just these 4 Elite Operations play sets. For more information on the recall, visit the CPSC.gov website.
