Board games are huge in our house. No matter who is around, what permutation of the family is present, we can usually find something that we all like to play and have a great time and lots of laughs while we do it. Our latest favorite is Pictureka! (compare prices), a gift we collectively got from Santa last year.
This fast-paced game keeps us all on our toes with our eyes wide open. The goal is to find the hidden object in an incredibly busy picture. No batteries, no noise, just you and your eyes. It's a great game for two or ten, although we do find the more the merrier. And although it is recommended for kids ages 8 and up, I can tell you that my 6-year-old often wipes the floor with all of us. Winning Pictureka! is not about how old you are, it's about how observant you can be.
