This wonderful Clikits set from LEGO is a lot of fun. The set comes with 3 stretchy wires for making bracelets, one big stretchy wire for a necklace, and a mini package of beads. Also included is a nice keychain featuring the fashionable Heart.
Overall, this lovely Clikits set is perfect as a travel toy. Small, compact and easy to carry, it will occupy the creative little designer for a good amount of time. The best part is the ability to wear one's own creations at the end of it all!

The basic Clikits concept is very simple. There are 2 parts to a clikit, which snap into each other. This is somewhat similar to a snap button. Once the parts have snapped together, they are surprisingly strong, and are difficult to pull apart. One has to pry them apart which is a good thing, as it avoids unneccessary breakages. The clikits come in different shapes namely long rod shapes, heart shapes and round shapes. The color theme is pink, light green and light blue. Some of the clikits are in translucent plastic, and some are opaque. One can mix and match to create different pieces of jewellery.
Instructions showing how to create a bracelet with 2 strands of beads, as well as a single stranded bracelet are included. Making a bracelet takes around 5-10 minutes, depending on the age of the bracelet maker. A necklace is much simpler to make. A few clikits evenly spaced out on the elastic wire make a pretty necklace.
There could have been more beads included. The number of beads was just enough to make 2 bracelets, and a very sketchy necklace. The desired color combinations were also not possible because of the lack of same colored beads. LEGO could have included more beads with this set, also to make up for any accidental losses, as they are small parts which can be easily misplaced.
I loved the keychain, which is very simple to assemble, but yet stood out. Very cute, and functional, kids will love carrying around this keychain and showing off to their friends!
